In September 2017, Ashy, our friendly feline who calls UTown his home, had an eye infection. A feeder had observed and reported that Ashy’s eyes were inflamed and shut. We suspected conjunctiva, hence saline solution and Nova Eyedrops were purchased and administered daily during feeding. After observing a slow recovery, Ashy’s visit to the vet was due.
Poor Ashy! His eyes seen here are shut due to the inflammation
Ashy visited the vet on the 8th of October. The eye infection was not caused by any cuts or bruising. In fact, Dr Alice suspected the eye infection to be inflammation caused by the presence of bacteria that entered Ashy cleans his eyes or rubs against dirty surfaces. Dr Alice prescribed anti-biotics to treat the inflammation.
Ashy doing a good job at the vet!
Additionally, we found out that he was of a healthy weight and was clean of termites and fleas. Good job, Ashy!
