Start of the NUS journey
Casper was first spotted in the Yusof Ishak House area at the beginning of AY16/17. We suspect that she might have been abandoned by her previous owner, because she had already been sterilised and she appeared quite friendly towards humans. We noticed that there seemed to be some skin irregularities (small bumps) on the back of her ears. And she just didn’t look well in general. We decided to bring Casper to the vet, who prescribed antibiotics for her. After the vet visit, we relocated Casper to the Com1 area.
A gentle soul
To those who are not familiar with Casper, she might seem a little unfriendly or even scary. The bottom fang that’s sticking out does make her look like a tough character. But these people couldn’t be more wrong. Once you get to know her, you will realise that she is really the gentlest creature.

Angelic green eyes
To those who she is familiar with, Casper shows affection by rubbing her head against their legs or blinking slowly. She would also meow at her feeders to ask for food if she’s really hungry (Casper has a particularly husky meow).
Casper hanging out on her favourite black sofa
Most of the time she enjoys napping on the black sofa and lazing around the Com1 area. Casper also loves a good head rub, and would purr loudly to tell you that she’s having a great time. When feeling more energetic, she would scratch on trees to sharpen her nails.
