In late September, it came to our attention that there was a ginger cat who had been regularly appearing at King Edward VII Hall. The residents staying in the hall had been feeding her. Later we also found out that she is actually a mommy cat. And unfortunately, her kittens have either died or went missing. The environment that she was in wasn’t the best place to have kittens. We suspect her kittens died because they got washed away in the heavy rain.

We decided to apply the Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) programme so that tragedies like this won’t happen again. On 25th October, we sent Ginger to West Coast Vetcare for sterilisation.

The surgery was successful and now Ginger is back in KE VII Hall being taken care of by the kind residents who adore her so much!
