To all our volunteer feeders, NUS CatCafe would like to take this opportunity to express our utmost gratitude for your contributions so far. Taking care of our cute felines in NUS would not have been possible without the help from everyone!
We have some good news for all you feline lovers who have dedicated your time and effort into volunteering with NUS CatCafe!
NUS CatCafe will be awarding CIP hours for all NUS Students who have been volunteering to feed the campus cats for this Semester and beyond!
How does this work:
- For every feeding session you complete, you are each awarded 1 hour of CIP hours
- Eg. Purrson X and Purrson Y both are assigned duty on Monday. Each person will accumulate one hour of CIP hours per week.
- Eg. Purrson Z does duty on both MON and WED. Z will receive two hours of CIP hours per week.
How do we keep track:
- We will follow the schedule established at the beginning of the Semester to award the CIP hours.
QnA:
- Q: What happens if I swapped duty that week with someone?
- A: We will assume that a mutual swap was arranged and thus the total hours remain the same.
- Q: What happens if someone else covered for me that week and I didn’t do a make-up?
- A: If someone covered for you and no make-up was arranged, we would not penalize you but we do hope that you will help cover for others if the need arises :D (collect karma points)
- Q: How do I claim my CIP hours?
- A: Currently, you can claim your CIP hours by submitting the number of hours to NUS PEACE on NUSync and we will approve the submission from the portal itself. You can also provide us with your desired form of documentation which NUS PEACE will sign and endorse the number of CIP hours you have accumulated so far. In addition, we will be providing a validation letter upon request which is an official record for your accumulated CIP hours.
*If you are unsure about the number of CIP hours you have accumulated, feel free to check with us as we will be having our own internal tracking system.
